Shooter's sponsors several varieties of friendly shooting competition.
- Bulls-eye Pistol Leagues offer competition in precision shooting at bulls-eye targets placed 15 yards from the shooter. Both rimfire and centerfire leagues are offered. Participants must be 16 years old or older and have a valid FOID. Leagues shoot on Friday evenings starting at 6 PM.
- Defensive Pistol Matches (DPMs) offer great practice for those obtaining their concealed carry license. DPMs are scheduled the first Wednesday of every month and start at 2 PM and 6 PM. They last about three hours. The scenarios start with the shooter drawing their gun from a belt holster and then shooting multiple targets in a prescribed order while being timed. Participants must be 18 years old or older and have a valid FOID. Participants do not have to have a concealed carry license.
- Youth League offers children from 8 to 15 years of age the opportunity to shoot a rimfire rifle at bulls-eye targets 15 yards away in conjunction with an adult family member shooting a rimfire pistol at the same target at the same distance. The adult family member must have a valid FOID.
- A Girl and A Gun Women's Shooting League offers shooting opportunities for women and is run by women. It meets at 7 PM the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at Shooter's Indoor Range. Please contact Diana Smith at (618) 406-6757 for detailed information beyond what is on our web page.
